Case study

Design to make
a difference.

The situation

Live for Lily is a not-for-profit foundation working to find a cure for childhood cancer. Since 2016, we’ve teamed up to support their cause in any way we can.

From design to delivery, we couldn’t be prouder to flex our creative muscles and help bring their annual Butterfly Ball to life.

The solution

While the brief stays the same – help create an unforgettable night to raise much needed money for childhood cancer research – the challenge to go above and beyond last year’s ball is ever growing.

We start, as always, with a concept. We tinker and tweak and finally arrive on a new look brand for the new ball. Following that, it’s go time. From engaging pre-event assets to event-ready print materials, animations, video and much more, we’re here to make sure we make an impact.

The results

With over 700 guests in attendance, the 2019 Butterfly Ball at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium was an extraordinary night, raising over $136,000 to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

For team JMA, it’s always a joy to see our work in action and do our part to help support an incredible cause.

It was all about setting the scene …  You know what they say about first impressions!  JMA set the bar high and everything grew from there!

Our 2019 Butterfly Ball was our biggest and best event yet.  The team at JMA developed an outstanding branding campaign which really captured the imagination of not only the event itself, but also of our 700 guests that were in attendance.

Upon arrival that evening, with the fantastic visual representation and colour on full display lighting up the Crown Palladium, our guests knew instantly that they were in for a very special evening.
