Empowering diversity with bold branding
The situation
Careers in Colour support people of colour as they enter and progress in the workplace.
When they reached out in late 2022 with a challenge — to create a visual identity to empower their vision — we (of course!) said a big YES!
The solution
The new Careers in Colour brand needed to vibrant and dynamic, empowering their community and engaging B2B audiences.
Using hand-drawn illustrative elements, our designs championed Career in Colour’s authenticity and personality.
We used a highlight device to evolve this concept, and draw attention to the unique and important role Careers in Colour play in the Australian business sector.
The results
With nods to mind-mapping and ideation, the final identity is bold and bright.
We delivered the brand suite across digital and social assets, working closely with the Careers in Colour team.
As a community organisation, Careers in Colour had limited resources for a project of this scale. And that’s where JMAcares comes in: we’re proud to have delivered this project completely free of charge.
We approached JMA Creative to assist us with a refreshed visual identity for Careers in Colour.
They were quick to respond and proactive in getting to know more about Careers in Colour, firstly understanding our vision and values. As a community organisation with limited resources, JMA Creative were kind enough to offer their pro bono services and deliver this work to us for free.
Despite being extremely busy, they offered support and helped us develop brand guidelines and a professional suite of templates. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Steve, Bridget and the team as they have continuously demonstrated their expertise and creativity in helping refresh our brand and providing guidance on implementation and application.
They responded very positively to feedback and their attention to detail, creativity and talent has helped us achieve a visually stunning and versatile brand identity. We highly recommend working with JMA Creative and are really appreciative for helping us with a significant piece of work that would we would not have been able to ordinarily afford.
